They've read or heard that Alumax is the third largest integrated aluminium company in the United States and know that Alumax currently contributes the biggest part of AMAX revenues and earnings and has the most employees and locations.
When people think of Alumax, typically what comes to mind is primarily aluminium or perhaps some readily visible products, such as Kawneer doors. But many employees, and even outsiders, don't fully understand what Alumax is : the United States' broadest based aluminium company, one that participates in nearly every major aluminium market."
